We are pleased to announce that IFMA NYC will host their most celebrated event, The Annual Awards of Excellence Dinner on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Pierre Hotel in New York City in honor of Ted Moudis, AIA, Senior Principal of Ted Moudis Associates (TMA).

IFMA Cares
IFMA Cares is partnering with the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter (NCS) to collect gently used pieces of winter clothing including coats, hats, scarves, gloves, etc. We ask that IFMA NYC members support these efforts to help bring winter clothing to our fellow New Yorkers in need. IFMA NYC will coordinate pick-up services from all participating companies at the end of the Winter Clothing Drive. Bed, Bugs and Beyond, Inc., will arrange for a trusted service provider to fumigate and eradicate any infestation of all donations prior to sending to the NCS.

IFMA Bucks Program
The IFMA Bucks Program is in full swing! This is a fun and exciting year for IFMA NYC facility managers. Our new reward program is open to all member facility managers. Here is how it works:
All facility practitioners are automatically signed up! During the course of the 2011/12 year you will get ‘rewarded’ with IFMA reward dollars, called “IFMA bucks,” for participating in various chapter events. Our dedicated committee members will keep track of your “bucks” and you can spend them as you wish. Beginning January, 2012, various prizes will become available, or you can use them to attend the regular monthly meetings. You can even save your IFMA Bucks for the annual Mini Expo next September where many valuable prizes will be there to bid on. Previously awarded items have included European vacation for two, flat screen TV, a fabulous wine tasting party and much, much more will be up for grabs for all those facility practitioners who participate in our chapter programs during the year.
Your bucks bankroll started fresh in October so you will need to spend it by the Mini Expo next September.
