Toolbox Luncheon: Green Cleaning

Attendees learnt how Green Cleaning changes the traditional purchasing criteria from just performance and cost, and focuses on achieving the "best value" for the facility. This changes the purchasing equation from the lowest initial cost to one that, in addition to performance and cost, considers product usage, training requirements, impacts on worker and occupant health and safety, and environmental impacts. Green cleaning is a proven winner when this new focus is included.
